The AERA wishes to advise all members that the Tom Quilty 2021 event will be proceeding at Collie in Western Australia as scheduled. Contingency plans have now been enacted to ensure that the appropriate level of officials and vets are in place, with assistance from those states where travel to Western Australia is still possible. AERA expresses its heartful thanks to these people for their support of this year’s Quilty event.
We offer our commiserations to those vets and chief stewards who had previously indicated their support and intent to assist at the event but who are now restricted from being present. The TQ family will definitely miss your presence.
While it is very regrettable that many of us will be unable to attend this event due to Covid restrictions we all need to support the hard work of the TQ21 Committee and their many volunteers who have toiled for a number of years to get this event off the ground.
For those members who are travelling to participate in our wonderful event we wish you a very safe trip. To all riders we wish you a positive outcome for your ride and a wonderful day competing. To the strappers and support team, our thanks for making it possible for your rider to compete. Remember to look after all the volunteers who are giving up their time to bring you this event.
