The AERA Management Committee confirms that the additional qualifying criteria for the 2026 Tom Quilty Gold Cup, first announced in February, remains unchanged.
To be eligible to enter the 2026 Tom Quilty, riders must meet one of the following criteria:
• Have previously completed a 160km endurance ride in one day /24 hours, OR
• Have completed a minimum of 500km of endurance rides, including at least one ride of 80km or more within the past 13 months
These updates to the Quilty Standard will apply for TQ26. Results will be reviewed following the 2026 event to assess the outcomes of the additional criteria.
